The purpose of the association is to be the house of learning to promote and practice ideologies of Hinduism and its religious practices through social interaction, education and teaching.
BHIMA is an association for every Adelaide Hindu offering regular opportunities to understand the faith and the teachings of the Vedic scriptures as well as socio-cultural association in the Kerala tradition that promotes learning and practice of various traditional art forms which could potentially develop our children’s spiritual well being, cultural upbringing, openness, respect and tolerance .
The association strives to conduct religious, spiritual, educational, social and cultural activities for the benefit of the Hindu Community and the broader interested public.

Helping and supporting new families moving to South Australia . Organize gatherings in temple for monthly Bhajans and encouraging members to connect with each other. Promoting Hindu values, philosophy, Malayalam language and literature, musical, educational, cultural events and festivals of Keralites.
In addition to emphasizing Hindu culture, educating children and community welfare within the framework of Hinduism and with God’s blessings we aim to fulfill our dream of preserving and imparting our traditional values and virtues.
