YOGA CLASS

Expressions of Yoga are found in Indus Valley Civilization fossils presenting that the practice of Yoga must have started at least during or even prior to the Indus Valley Civilization that existed over 5000 years ago. The Vedic scriptures – the earliest of the scriptures containing profound collection of teachings – compiled and codified by the great sage Veda Vyasa mentions of Yoga (1500 BC to 500 BC). As per the Indian Mythology, Lord Siva is being seen as the Aadi Yogi or the First Yogi. In the later scriptural development, prominent being the Bhagavad Gita, the quintessence of the Mahabharata, one of the great epics, explicate on the science of Yoga and focus on Gyan Yoga (Transcendental Knowledge), Bhakti Yoga (Devotion) and Karma Yoga (Selfless Action). Indeed, Budhism and Jainism scriptures and traditions also shed information on Yoga practices and disciplines.
We BHIMA conduct Yoga classes for our members, once in month, with talented teachers.
